New Haven, CT - $20 1882 Brown Back Fr. 495 The New Haven County National Bank Ch. # 1245 PMG Very Fine 25.A scarce New Haven bank which issued large size only before closing its doors in 1915 is represented in this lot. The finer of two $20 Brown Backs reported, this piece is one of fewer than a dozen pieces overall in the census. Our consignor acquired this note out of our 2012 ANA Signature Auction. It is a bright mid-grade note, with attractive color and legible stamped signatures.
