High Grade Boston Lazy Deuce
Boston, MA - $2 1875 Fr. 392 The Boston NB Ch. # 408A quite lovely 1875 Lazy Deuce from this short-lived Boston bank that closed in 1898, it is one of just three such pieces reported and is easily the finest of that trio. At first glance, and even at second glance, it appears new in its holder but PCGS must have found something they did not like in assigning a grade of Choice About New 55PPQ to this beautiful specimen. It has all the attributes of a new note with wonderful color, bold signatures, and original paper surfaces that reveal no evidence of circulation. A great Deuce that would be a highlight of any collection.
