Pueblo, Colorado Territory - $1 Original Fr. 382 The First
National Bank Ch. # 1833 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.This attractive note is one of a small group which has given collectors a chance to own a high grade Territorial Ace. Twenty Territorials are known from this bank, the great majority are Original Series Aces in Uncirculated or near-Uncirculated condition. Most are well ensconced in long term holdings, with only one offering in the past nine years. This piece, which has the look of a Gem and has been called that in the past, has wonderful color, margins, and signatures, yet the graders at PMG saw, or imagined something, in assigning a Choice AU grade to this pretty note. Either way, it is still a gorgeous note fit for the finest of collections.
