Covina, CA - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 617 The Covina National Bank Ch. # (P)8222 PMG Very Fine 25.Not surprisingly, this attractive Date Back from a Covina bank traces its provenance back to our auction of The Charley Colver Collection in 1999 as this was Charley's hometown (he served as its mayor for many years). It represents the considerably scarcer of Covina's two issuers, with the census showing just seven large notes extant. The only example of this type and denomination reported from this charter, it exhibits pleasing color and problem free wear.
