Fernandina, FL- Bank of Fernandina $10 Dec. 1,1859 G4a Benice 5 PMG Very Fine 25.
The bank was organized in 1859 and moved to Starke in 1862 when Union forces occupied Fernandina. The $10 has this bank's trademark bright red denominational end panels flanking vignettes of a wagonload of cotton bales and a young girl blowing her breath on a dandelion puff ball. The note is fully issued with genuine signatures and is printed on bright paper with good colors. There are no repairs or meaningful impairments.
