Great Small Size Rarity $10 1934 North Africa Star
Fr. 2308* $10 1934 Mule North Africa Silver Certificate. PMG
Very Fine 30.A great small size rarity that was part of the emergency issue for United States troops involved in the North Africa and Mediterranean campaigns of World War II. We can personally vouch for only four examples of this rare star. This number is composed of our personal observations plus our own auction offerings as we are the only brick and mortar auction house that has ever offered a Fr. 2308*. The example in this lot is the highest graded of the three that PMG has inspected. It is a nice mid-grade note with ample margins in a comment free third party holder. Only the most elite of collectors can own an example of this rare star and we would not be surprised if our estimate proves to be on the conservative side.
