Description
T15 $50 1861 PF-1 Cr. 79 PMG Very Fine 20.Printed by the New Orleans office of the ABNCo. under the cover imprint of the Southern Bank Note Company, 14,860 of these well done intaglio printed notes were issued before the fall of New Orleans at the end of April, 1862 ended further production. The design features pre-war vignettes of a passenger train, Prosperity, and Justice as well as a red-orange protector panel. Although perhaps a bit toned and soiled, this note is completely intact with no cancellations, repairs, or meaningful condition impairments.
