Rare $20 San Jose National Gold Bank Note
San Jose, CA - $20 Original Fr. 1156 National Gold Bank Note The Farmers National Gold Bank Ch. # 2158An extremely rare $20 National Gold Bank Note, with only eight San Jose examples listed in the current National Bank Note Census. This piece, graded PCGS Apparent Very Good 8, is one of the eight and fetched a very reasonable $15,275 when we sold it one year ago. While well circulated and with a few minor problems including a tiny corner tip repair along with edge and split repairs, it is still rare enough to see bidding easily reach and perhaps well exceed that rather modest figure in this year's offering.
