Description
Fr. 1002 $20 1914 Federal Reserve Note PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.From our 2011 FUN auction where we described this pack fresh $20 FRN as "it is hard to believe that PMG has mis-attributed this spectacular $20 FRN that is the solo finest graded by them for its actual Friedberg number which is really a Fr. 1002 with the Burke-Houston signature combination, not a Fr. 1000 as mentioned on the holder. Still, we can not argue with the grade as this lovely note has wide margins, superb paper, and bold color. Needless to say, PMG will re-holder this beauty at no charge." PMG has since graded just one additional note at this lofty level (presumably with the right attribution).
