Lexington, TN - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 609 The First NB Ch. # 12324When the last edition of Don Kelly's reference was published in 2008, the number "0" represented the amount of large size notes reported on this late chartering Lexington bank. Amazingly, four survivors have surfaced in the intervening five years and tonight we present what is arguably the finest of that quartet. This attractive mid-grade piece has excellent body, color, original surfaces, and appealing rubber stamped purple signatures. PCGS Very Fine 25PPQ and destined to belong to another great Tennessee collection.
