Knoxville, TN - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 655 The American NB Ch. # (S)10327An institution that was highly capitalized when it opened in 1913, but the subsequent years were not so good as its circulation was taken over by the City National Bank in 1922. The City NB did a good job in redeeming the notes of the American NB, as this example is one of just three large size known on charter number 10327. PMG Choice Fine 15.
