Attleborough, MA - $1 1875 Fr. 384 The Attleborough NB Ch. # 1604Strong signatures and a bold red overprint are seen on this bright Ace. This is one of the scarcest Massachusetts banks with about a half dozen notes known in total. Unfortunately for collectors, only two other notes have been offered at public auction in the last 20 years. PCGS indicates the note was severed at one of the folds and reattached. The repair was perfectly executed and far from a distraction. Apparent Very Fine 20.
