North Granville, NY - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 468 The North Granville NB Ch. # 1348
An extremely rare bank, with this institution initially issuing in Fort Edward and then moving to North Granville, where it produced First Charters and Brown Backs only before liquidating in 1905. Only one note exists with the first title, and this is one of two known (and considerably the nicer of the pair) extant with the second. We sold the lesser of the two last year in an Apparent 15 holder for $4600. PCGS Very Fine 20, a far superior piece should easily see bidding reach or exceed...
