Fr. 1359 50¢ Third Issue Justice. PCGS Choice About New 55PPQ.A very pleasing example of this extremely rare Fractional number. Roughly two dozen examples are known in all grades combined, with most of the higher grade pieces having serious centering issues. The centering on this note is less than perfect with the top and right hand margins being unusually large and the bottom and left margins just touching the design. Even still, this is one of the better centered 1359s that this cataloger has seen. The reason for the 55 grade is not evident through the holder, although the paper originality is clearly evident. An important note that seldom reaches the market unless major collections are sold.
