Virginia October 5, 1778 $100 PMG Very Good 10 Net.Only 9597 of this denomination were printed for this issue. A center split was reinforced on the back with a strip of backing, accounting for the net grade. Although the restoration does detract; these physically larger, soft paper notes are often far more damaged than this overall pleasing piece.
