Description

Second Offering in Six Decades

Ralston, OK - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 6232
This truly rare note comes from the only bank chartered in this tiny Pawnee County community. The census here stands at just five pieces, three large and two small, all of which save one have been off the market in major collections for many years. In fact, our records show no offerings whatever of any Series 1929 example before this evening. With this bank issuing only a handful of small notes before disappearing in December of 1930, it would be unwise to expect many more such examples remain to be discovered. Sharp Fine-Very Fine, a great Oklahoma item worthy of a strong bid.
