Milton 2E25F.4 25¢ Second Issue Experimental PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.This number is the rarest of the three basic 25¢ Experimental varieties. This example has only the bronze "25" overprint on the back with no corner surcharges. This piece was Lot 16414 of the Tom O'Mara Collection that we auctioned in May 2005. Previously, Tom had acquired it as Lot 32 from our June 1995 Memphis auction. It is an absolutely superb quality piece and one of only about half a dozen or so known of this elusive variety. This Experimental has the usual two half moon cancels.
