Moosup, CT - $20 1929 Ty. 2 The Plainfield NB Ch. # 10145This serial number 1 example is a true miracle of survival, as it is the only note known which bears this bank's second title. This nomenclature was used on only a handful of sheets, 141 sheets of tens and only 15 sheets of twenties, all circulated at the very end of the note issuing period. No other examples have turned up. leaving this well circulated but fully intact number 1 note as the only survivor displaying this title. Any estimate here is truly a guess, but only one collector will be fortunate enough to own a note from Moosup when the hammer falls tonight.
