Ashland, WI - $100 1902 Date Back Fr. 689 The Ashland NB Ch. # (M)3196From our 2003 Central States Signature Auction where it was cataloged, "A new addition to the census from here, and, by all accounts, likely the highest grade high denomination example known from here. Pen signed Very Fine-Extremely Fine, one of the key pieces in this very high grade Wisconsin assemblage put together by our consignor during the past fifteen years." Seven years later it resides in a PMG Very Fine 25 holder and is still tough to come by.
