Cheney, WA - $5 1929 Ty. 1 The Security NB Ch. # 9144The last appearance of a small size Cheney was more than half a decade ago, and no finer piece has been offered at public auction in almost twice as long. This vibrant $5 is perfectly original with much of the serial number and title embossing remaining, bright paper, and excellent eye appeal. While not all the notes in the Washington collection being presented here tonight have EPQ or PPQ designations, bold eye appeal is a theme that is consistent throughout the collection.
