Mount Gilead, OH - $5 1875 Fr. 404 The Morrow County NB Ch. # 2459Chartered in 1880 at the tail end of the First Charter period, this bank issued Series 1875 $5 notes only before liquidating at the expiration of its charter in 1900. By 1910, a meager $850 was reported outstanding. This is one of a trio of examples known, with only one other having been offered at public sale during the past two decades. PMG Very Fine 20.
