Massachusetts June 18, 1776 24s Contemporary Counterfeit PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ. A well-executed contemporary counterfeit bearing the forged signatures of Ellis and Jeffries. It's pen canceled, with six cross-hatched lines drawn on the face.
