Guthrie, OK- Guthrie Savings Bank $1 and $2 1907 Panic Scrip.
$1 Dec. 1907 Burgett 1 Shafer OK610-1b Very Good-Fine;
$2 Nov. 1907 Burgett 2 Shafer OK610-2b Fine.
These Depression certificates were issued during November and December 1907, right before and after admittance to the Union as the 46th state on November 16, 1907. Both of these examples were rubber stamped cancelled.
Guthrie was the capital until 1910 when the citizens of the state voted in a special election for Oklahoma City to be the state capital. The rubber stamped dates have faded almost completely away. Both examples have been rubber stamped as "Paid." (Total: 2 notes)
