Buffalo, NY- Dingens Brothers / Dingens' Napoleon Bitters "77" Ad Note ND ca. 1860s PMG Very Fine 20.An advertising note designed to resemble the 1862 Greenback Legal Tender series, this example showcases a portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte at upper left. The product advertised was claimed to cure everything from dyspepsia to fever. This is the first note from this issuer that we have been able to auction. PMG indicates there are tape repairs.
