Continental Loan Office in the State of New York Bill of Exchange for $12/60 Livres Tournois Payable at Paris September 17, 1781. PMG Very Fine 25.With more of the attractive scrolled design on the left side margin, this beautiful example of this New York Loan Office Livres Tournois certificate is sure to attract attention. Printed on laid paper, watermarked "United States 4." This note was issued to Harme Gansevoort who was an important Albany merchant and member of the Dutch Church. Signed by Declaration of Independence signer Francis Hopkinson as the "Treas'r of Loans."
