Houston, TX- Consolidated Fund of Texas $100 Sep. 1, 1837 Cr. CF1 Medlar 69 PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 63.Authorized by an Act of June 7, 1837, Consolidated Fund of Texas notes were emitted for the purpose of combining and funding public debt. Examples such as this $100 bore 10% interest. Our current offering features the word "his" printed only on line two before "heirs," and an intertwined border accentuates simple panels at both right and left. The right panel denotes the denomination, while the left panel declares "PUBLIC FAITH PLEDGED." No forms of cancellation are present.
