Austin, TX- Consolidated Fund of Texas $500 Jan. 21, 1841 Cr. CF17A Medlar UNL PCGS Banknote Choice VF 35 PPQ.Our current offering is printed on paper watermarked "R." This scarcer variety was recorded by Hugh Shull in his 2007 catalog and given an R10 rarity rating, 5-15 examples known. PCGS Banknote has awarded the PPQ designation for entirely original paper surfaces. While this example has escaped the usual cut cancellations, it has been pen cancelled on the face. We have only offered one other representative of this variation prior to now.
