Continental Currency January 14, 1779 $1 PMG Very Fine 25.The last Continental Currency series was unique in its use of a red color border cut and partial color emblem vignette. This $1 is one of the key notes to the last emission as most were heavily used for change in commerce. This moderately circulated example just has a split in its top margin.
