Inverted "S" Surcharge Error Fr. 1286 25¢ Second Issue PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.An attractive example of this anomaly, this offering has spacious margins and bright bronzing. This variety, where only the "S" in the back surcharge is inverted, was due to just that one letter being placed in the plate upside down. This invert appears on both the regular issue and Experimental issues.
