Greensborough, NC- P.R. Tate (Henry Humphreys) $1-$3-$5 18__ Uncut Sheet About Uncirculated.This is the first uncut sheet we have offered on this issuer. We have sold a few individual notes with the last auction appearance being in 2004. The $1 and $3 notes state, "I promise to pay to P.R. Tate or Bearer" and the $5 has a blank space instead of the name of P.R. Tate. There is some foxing on this private issue scrip. This sheet was once mounted.
