Description
Omaha City, NE (Territory)- City of Omaha $3 Oct. 1, 1857 PMG Very Fine 30.The vignettes on this well preserved $3 include a very detailed scene with Liberty and Justice in the foreground. There is also a vignette of an Indian brave holding a spear. The verbiage on this note includes "Nebraska Territory." Nebraska became a territory in 1854 and achieved statehood in 1867.
