Portsmouth, NH- Piscataqua Exchange Bank $5 18__ Remainder G8 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.Fancy counters appear at each end, with a vignette of a ship in dry dock seen on the right and a bust of George Washington at left. A lovely Gem remainder from a bank that was in operation from 1844-1863 and became the First National Bank of Portsmouth, charter number 19.
