Description
Troy, NH- E.P. Kimball & Co. "100" Advertising Note Vlack-UNL PMG Very Fine 25.This advertising note was used to promote the Patent Seam Boot whose main claim to fame was a comfortable fit. Printed in brown ink, the face features a cherub with the patent seam boot holding a banner reading NEVER RIPS - SMOOTH INSIDE. This is flanked by vignettes of one happy customer who is benefiting from the boot and one unhappy man whose boots are painful to wear. The back is a fairly basic layout with a testimonial and the name of the firm which fancied itself as "TRADERS AND DEALERS IN EVERYTHING." Clearly the firm's philosophy was "If we don't have it you don't need it!" PMG notes some staining / foxing and relatively minor corner damage. This is our first offering of this note.
