Rhode Island May 1786 2s/6d PMG Very Fine 25. Over 96% of the May 1786 issue was burned by the state of Rhode Island from 1793 to 1803. This particular denomination had a printing of only 16,000 to begin with. This is a bright example with embossing and dark signatures.Auction Info
