Only a touch of handling is present on this fantastic middle denomination from 1925, featuring the incredible first serial number. A mere 10,000 notes were printed bearing this date, and less than 50 are extant. This is the most exciting and best of those extant, as it features serial number 00001. We have not offered this denomination in the past, and there are no traceable auction results as well. Additionally, this is the first and only example graded by PMG. An incredible banknote and part of a complete set of Serial Number 1 notes offered in today's auction.
