Portuguese India Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Nova Goa 2 1/2 Rupias 1.10.1917 Pick 22A Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 12.12.2 PMG Very Fine 25.Highest denomination of the 1917 series. Red front and green back variety. The eye appeal of this example cannot be understated, as the colors are deep and the paper retains significant strength. Mounting remnants and minor margin repairs are mentioned for accuracy. This example is tied for the finest grade in the PMG Population Report of only six notes present at the time of cataloging.
