Netherlands Netherlands Bank 10 Gulden 1914 Pick 28 PL32a PMG Very Fine 20.Rarely seen "Help Note," issued during World War I hastily to address a shortage of currency. This note is rare, as issuance was brief and redemption was nearly complete. According to the Catalog Papermoney of the Netherlands, Part 2, all but 166 examples of this note were redeemed. Circulation and splits are mentioned for accuracy. A very rare short-lived type issued during wartime.
