Description
Ireland Bank of Ireland 1 Pound 16.3.1891 Pick 62b PMG Very Fine 20.A remarkable Bank of Ireland issue. At the time of cataloging, this is the only example graded in the PMG Population Report for notes dated 1890 to 1896. Although a corner tip is rounded/missing and spindle holes are mentioned for accuracy, this example should command serious bidding due to its large size and rarity. In the opinion of the cataloger, this is a vastly underrated banknote with such an early date.
