China Pei Hai Bank of China 5 Yuan 1941 Pick S3550 S/M#P21-2 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.An unusual and rare type note. This communist era bank was a prolific issuer of designs and denominations from 1938 to 1948, but interestingly, few were saved in the best of collector grades. At the time of cataloging, PMG has graded 50 examples of this type, with only one grading higher than this offering.
