Todd Protectograph Co. Check Writer (Protector).The latest patent date that is listed on the bottom is 1919. This company was a major employer in Buffalo from 1899 to 1954, when it was bought out by Burroughs Corporation. The check writer does work. All you need to do is dial to your desired want, slide the check through the paper guide, and with the hand crank you will perform your perforation. One guide arm is detached. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
