Milton 2E50F.4. 50¢ Second Issue Experimental PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A relatively common Experimental, but not in this grade. These are almost invariably miscut and/or mishandled. This ex-Ford Collection note is broadly margined and absolutely problem-free. It also has a partial face plate number of "3" in the extra wide upper right corner. This is something that is very rarely seen on any Experimental. Between the Friedberg and O'Mara auctions, we have handled over 20 examples of this basic Experimental type, and none of them has had even a trace of a plate number. As made ink on the back is detailed on the third party label.
