Netherlands Netherlands Bank 1000 Gulden 15.1.1917 Pick 27s PL121.i2 AV104.S 9b Specimen PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
The highest denomination Specimen from this always popular, large sized and elusive series of Dutch issuances. This note appears to have been fully printed before being transformed into a Specimen, a common appropriation for Specimen for the time. Notice the 2-letter series and 6-digit serial number on this example. Signatures of Delprat and Vissering. The note is perforated and star punched cancelled. This example grades second highest on the PMG Population Report, of only three graded. This will be the first time that we have offered this type in this format. Very rare in any format and a desirable highest denomination type note.
