Choice Uncirculated 1928D $5 Federal Reserve Note
Fr. 1954-F $5 1928D Light Green Seal Federal Reserve Note. PMG
Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.A very high grade was been awarded to this key 1928D Series note that was issued only for the Atlanta district during the very depths of the Great Depression. Of the two major services, just PMG has graded one note finer than this near-Gem example, and that 66 EPQ piece has never appeared at public sale according to Track & Price. In our last FUN auction, we offered a 64PPQ example in an "old" PCGS holder that fetched $7,200.
