EPQ.Any solid serial with all nines is a treasure, especially so when the solid nines adorn an early Silver Certificate. This example is a beautiful piece which clearly deserves its high grade, as the note's paper quality and originality is evident right through the PMG holder. Since the current BEP practice is not to print notes with serials higher than 96000000, the number of notes bearing solid nines can go no higher than those already released, making these even scarcer in the future. In its last auction appearance twelve years ago, this pack fresh R-D block note sold for $8.050.
