64.The Lyons-Roberts signature combination is quite challenging to obtain at the Choice Uncirculated grade level. While PMG has certified a total of 394 examples of this number, just four of that count, or approximately 1%, have achieved the Choice Uncirculated 64 grade, including our current offering. Only around 5% of the Fr. 270 notes encapsulated by PMG have achieved the CU 63 grade or higher, with the finest grade being Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. All four margins on this piece are generous, with the top margin being slightly tighter than the other three, likely accounting for the note's grade. Beautiful color and aesthetic attractiveness will make this a sought after piece. This number is the rarest of the three $5 Educational numbers in high grade, and we should see spirited competition for this choice example.
