Fr. 268 $5 1896 Silver Certificate PMG Extremely Fine
40.A nicely margined, well-printed Educational $5 bearing the first of the three different signature combinations, this attractive piece is crossing the auction block for the first time. The folds are light on this pretty note and well disguised by the busy design. In our last Central States auction, we offered another PMG Extremely Fine 40 example, with minor repairs, which realized $6,000. This problem-free piece should certainly do at least as well.
