Greenville, TX - $5; $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 600; 600 The Greenville National Exchange Bank Ch. # (S)8581; 8581 Fine.A pair of Plain Back $5s on this bank with the earlier example having a geographic sort letter, one bank serial number, and one Treasury number. The other piece is without the geographic sort letter and has two bank serial numbers. Both notes have the "Deposited with the Treasurer" clause. Purple rubber stamped signatures of Cashier W.E. Dickey and President F.J. Phillips are present on the earlier $5. An ungraded post card of the bank building is included with this lot.
