China Imperial Bank of China, Shanghai 50 Dollars 22.1.1898 Pick A54p1; A54p2 S/M#C293 Front and Back Proof PMG Uncirculated 62 (2).
An imposing and very pretty pair of uniface Proofs. The $50 denomination usually proves the most challenging to find in Chinese banknote series, and that is certainly true here as well. At the time of cataloging, PMG has graded only seven remainders, zero issued notes, and only one set of uniface Proofs, which is offered here. Each side is previously mounted and printer notations are present on the face. Yellow and red hues create a striking appearance. Not to be missed, as this high denomination is virtually unseen in any format. (Total: 2 notes)

光緒二十四年（1898）中國通商銀行伍拾圓，上海地名，正背單面試樣票。PMG Uncirculated 62（2張）。
這對正背面試樣票設計絕美、賞心悅目，其伍拾圓面值在云云中國紙幣中尤其難覓，令人神往。截至編目時，PMG評級記錄僅顯示了七張庫存票，流通票更是杳無蹤影，而碩果僅存的成對試樣票於此出現。此項拍品均帶有黏痕，票面上帶有印刷商註釋。紅黃色調更襯托出引人注目的外觀，此等高面值的紙幣幾乎未曾以任何形式出現，稀世珍品不容錯過。
