Gorgeous PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Unc 67 PPQ Fr. 119 $10 Bison Note

Fr. 119 $10 1901 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Unc 67 PPQ.
The 1901 Bison Note, as we know it today, was issued as a commemorative of sorts honoring the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804-1806) and featured portraits of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark flanking a large vignette of Pablo, a bison from the National Zoo, engraved by Marcus Baldwin. This note checks all of the boxes for its lofty grade with vibrant colors, excellent paper with original surfaces, generous well proportioned margins, and nice face-to-back registration. This example is presently the highest graded example of this Friedberg number in the PCGS Banknote population of forty-one notes and would also hold that position (shared with three other examples) in the PMG database, which records 347 notes for this Friedberg number, if it were to receive the equivalent grade from that service.
