EPQ.With only 234 examples reported in the latest Track & Price Census, this Fr. 115 1901 $10 Legal is the second most elusive Bison number, falling only behind the Fr. 117 with 203 known. This very early Bison somehow managed to evade circulation and any traces of wear after it was issued well over a century ago. According to the PMG Population Report, out of the 158 examples of this number they have handled across all grades, this beauty sits near the top of them all. Tied for second highest graded with three others and bested by only two at the 66 EPQ level, the example presented in this lot is one of the best a collector can obtain. The last 65 EPQ we offered was in January 2023 and brought a grand total of $20,400.
